My little volcano. And other non-events

Since I have no windows in my office, thank Joss for webcams. How else would I know which shoes to wear out at lunchtime? The weather's a bit cloudier here in town than up on the mountain, but still, kind of a pretty day in the PNW.

At the moment--a quiet moment between meetings--I'm listening to the hilarious Now Show from BBC Radio 4. kispexi2 made me do it. Rapid-fire political and social comment. With songs! British topical humo(u)r. There's nothing quite like it.

Okay...can't put it off any longer. Whinybaby people need stuff from me. I must go do work.

I should hope you were never into My Little Pony! But I don't get the reference.

Think MtStH is gonna do her thing again? A little volcanic activity is always good for one's priorities.

Just the similarity of title... My Little Volcano, My Little Pony... dunno just possibly my worst stream of consciousness joke ever.
Volcanic activity is great, it's the soot part that I don't care for.

Hee! Sorry! It was in reference to my own title and I didn't even know it. Silly me. (My title was in reference to my icon, which is in reference to a great Paul Simon song by the same name.)

I'm with you on the soot/ash part. Last time she blew, it was before I owned any computer equipment.

Your pushing skills are inferior to none. When wedjateye entices me to a different continent to do something I swore I'd never do, she might start competing with you.

Plus, nice mountain

We know how to make 'em. We know how to blow 'em up.

But I give such good pouty face!

OK, I cede to kispexi2. She's a devil. (We've booked adjacent recliners in the special hell, care to join us?)

Totally off topic, because I have no other way of telling you this at present - my ^%$#*$*@& server has suddenly decided I can't e-mail you (doesn't like your address) - is anyone else having trouble? I don't know how to fix it, and it is now Friday night so I can't call anyone to ask.

Gorramit.

I'll ring my ISP and investigate in the am.

I suspect the problem is at my end. My main ISP seems to have a serious issue with some UK email addresses, and maybe Oz has joined the crowd.

Your message did come through, finally--along with your repeat of it. If it happens again, tell me what the exact error message is on the bounced email, and I'll get on my ISP's case, yet again.

This is, however, an excellent opportunity for me to use my new Doctor Who icon.
