3/31 Meme: What's In The Bag, Goose?*

Another fun meme idea I snagged from [personal profile] lamentables. Since I started Dressing My Truth, I've acquired a ridiculous number of few handbags--different colors for different outfits. So I tend to change bags every day, and accordingly, nothing much accumulates in there.

a hot pink neoprene handbag
The bag

Looking down into the interior of the hot pink neoprene handbag, we see an apple, a wallet, some glasses and a white bundle
A look inside the bag

The contents of the pink handbag--wallet, keys, lipstick, lip pencil, apple, glasses, white bundle
What's in the bag

The contents of the white bundle--three steel lunch containers, another bundle, and some celery sticks, plus the apple
What's in what's in the bag

The lunch containers opened to show yogurt and blueberries, meat and cheese, nuts, and spinach
What's in what's in what's in the bag

So basically my purse is a lunch bucket.

*Is anyone else old enough to remember this?

Now that's a very healthy lunch! And a very pretty bag/lunch bucket :)

I felt like I should say that it's both breakfast and lunch, but in reality I tend to eat the one at about 11:00 and the other at about 1:00, so yeah, long lunch.

I'm impressed. I think any camera would run out of battery before it finished photographing the contents of my bag! Every time I try to reduce its contents I realise that all of it essential and give up. Needless to say, I don't change bags frequently (or at all, except occasionally for a party).

And I'm beyond impressed at your food choices.

LOL! Yeah, I totally get that. It was the mark of a major sea-change in my life when I found myself able to pare down this way.

Mind you, the skinny little slip of a phone (which of course isn't in the pictures, being occupied at the time taking the pictures) replaces several former purse items: books, maps, transit schedules, flashlight, music player, a million bits of paper...
